Helen Lam

President

Helen Lam serves as the President of Shaklee Malaysia. Helen’s experience in the Direct Selling industry spans over 20 years leading the marketing and sales efforts for a multinational company. Throughout her career, Helen worked extensively in the Southeast region to grow both new and existing markets. 

 

Helen received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, graduating with Distinction with a Bachelors of Science, in Business Administration. Her interests include traveling, reading, cooking and yoga.

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Barnett is the Chairman and CEO of Shaklee Corporation.

He began his career at the investment banking firm Lazard Freres & Co. He then organized an investment group to acquire control of Arcade, Inc., which he transformed into the largest sampling company in the world, expanding from a solely U.S. operation into a global business. He was also the founder and Chairman and CEO of Beauty.com, which continues to be one of the leading internet retailers in the cosmetics industry.

Mr. Barnett received his undergraduate degree from Yale College (Summa Cum Laude), his law degree from Yale Law School (Senior Editor, Yale Law Journal), and his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Mr. Barnett has been selected as a Global Leader for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum (Davos). He has also been selected as a Young Leader Fellow of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization.

Additionally, Mr. Barnett serves as a member of the Harvard and Yale Schools of Public Health Leadership Councils, the Yale University President's Council on International Activities, the Board of Directors of the Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity, the Advisory Board of 2004 Nobel Peace Laureate Wangari Maathai's The Green Belt Movement, the Board of Directors for Town School San Francisco, and the Board of Trustees of The Fine Arts Museums Foundation of San Francisco.

Chief Financial Officer

Mike Batesole serves as Chief Financial Officer of Shaklee. Mr. Batesole brings more than 18 years of executive and financial management experience.

Prior to joining Shaklee, Mr. Batesole served in a variety of executive positions, most recently as Vice President of Finance and Administration for Dorado Network Systems.

Earlier in his career Mr. Batesole held senior financial positions at VA Software, Rebis software and Bentley Systems. Mr. Batesole serves as a Board Member for Shaklee Cares and serves as Secretary and as an audit committee member for the Walden House, one of the largest non-profit rehabilitation organizations in California.

He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and is a licensed CPA and certified management accountant.

Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Todd Tucker is Shaklee's Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, and his primary responsibilities include legal affairs, risk management, field administration, product quality assurance, and global regulatory affairs.

Previously, Todd served as General Counsel for Shaklee International and as Deputy General Counsel of Shaklee Corporation. After attending Williams College and Harvard Law School, Todd worked at Kirkland & Ellis, an international law firm in Chicago.

Todd then had a prominent career with McDonald's Corporation that spanned almost two decades. During the latter part of his tenure with McDonald's, Todd worked as Vice President & General Counsel-Asia, Pacific, Middle East & Africa.

Senior Vice President, Research & Development and Chief Science Officer

Bruce Daggy oversees and directs the functions of corporate research and development. He is primarily responsible for the development of Shaklee's robust portfolio of products including nutrition, personal care, household, and environmental products of for the home.

His career spans over 30 years in global roles within consumer healthcare. In nutrition, his work has ranged from developing leading nutritional supplements in India to providing sports nutrition products to elite athletes. He also has had a major focus on weight management and metabolic disease.

He began his professional career in academia and then spent 10 years in research and development at The Procter & Gamble Company. After P&G, Bruce spent over 13 years at SmithKline Beecham/Glaxo SmithKline in both the United States and the United Kingdom in various leadership positions, including overseeing their global nutritional research and development and managing over 80 scientists in the U.K. as well as a team in India.

In addition, he was also the Vice President, Weight Control Research & Development for Glaxo SmithKline. Prior to joining Shaklee, Bruce served as Senior Vice President, Research & Development and Chief Science Officer at Nutrisystem Inc. where he directed applied research and development for weight management and the prevention or management of obesity-related diseases and disorders.

Bruce has a Ph.D. in Nutritional Biochemistry from Cornell University and a B.A. in Biology from University of Virginia. He has authored 80 publications and abstracts and has developed 13 patents in his name.

He serves as Adjunct Professor and Advisory Board Member within the Nutrition, Food, and Exercise Sciences Department of Florida State University. He is a member of the American Society for Nutrition and of The Obesity Society, and has been an active volunteer with the American Diabetes Association's Greater Philadelphia Community Board and its Education and Advocacy Committee.

Chief Information Officer

Rich Libby serves as Chief Information Officer for Shaklee Corporation. In his role, Rich is responsible for the design, support and execution of Shaklee’s global technology strategy.

Rich brings a broad background in technology experience to the table with more than 20 years as a senior executive leader driving innovation across the Financial Services & Retail industries.

Prior to joining Shaklee, Rich served as VP of technology at Gap Inc. where he spearheaded a multi-year transformational program which built cutting edge global technology solutions supporting, Omni channel Marketing, CRM and enterprise data services. Prior to Gap, Rich spent 15 years with JP Morgan Chase, where he gained significant expertise, managing the creation and roll out of transformational platforms including Call Center Operations, CRM and the launch of Online Banking.

Rich received his BA from Central Connecticut State University, but has called the West Coast home for over 20 years living in Seattle and the Bay Area.

M.D., FAAFP Chairman, Medical Affairs, Health Sciences and Education

Dr. Jamie McManus is responsible for leading Shaklee's clinical research efforts in support of product development and distributor education.

Prior to joining Shaklee Corporation, Dr. McManus managed Herbalife's Medical Affairs and Nutrition Education department and personally trained more than one million distributors by traveling to more than 44 countries in eight years.

Dr. McManus received her M.D. with honors and completed her Residency from the University of California, Davis, and was a practicing Board Certified Family Physician for 15 years.
